Support, Empower, Educate
Live Live Revolution & Protective Collective specialises in support, education, advocacy and change in the areas of:
Sexual Violence, Gendered Violence, Coercive Control, Prevention of Violence
and Legal Systems Abuse of people reporting abuse.
Live Live Revolution & Protective Collective (PC) is a lived experience, volunteer-run organisation working to end violence, educate and provide advocacy around, coercive control, violence, the harms that family law systems cause especially to mothers, caregivers and children, including in Australia and internationally.
We provide education and training on domestic violence, sexual violence and coercive control, and we support law reform and policy change, including changes to the Family Law Act, through research, submissions to inquiries and public education.
PC offers support groups and one-on-one support for mothers and caregivers, especially those who have lost custody of their children or been harmed through family law proceedings after reporting violence.
We run a lived experience panel so that mothers' voices are heard in inquiries and reports, and we build international partnerships with researchers, advocates and organisations working on the same issues. Gendered violence is an epidemic in Australia, and PC works within the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children. Membership is free. [PC is working towards registration as a charity.]
